According to Gary Miles of the Philadelphia Inquirer, defenseman Chris Pronger will miss the start of training camp. At best Pronger had to be optimistic to not miss a game, but we expected a lengthier recovery.
We will continue to follow this injury as we come closer to training camp. If he will miss a significant amount of time it should effect his playing time and draft position. At least the Flyers now have depth on their blue line to handle the loss if needed. Matt Carle should be anxiously awaiting his return, regardless.
