Alex Ovechkin took a few turns before practice, then stayed on the ice for about 15 minutes of today’s morning skate according to Stephen Whyno of The Washington Times. If we were to read into these actions, it clearly appears that he would miss tonight’s game.

However, Whyno would later report, via Twitter, that Ovechkin declared himself in tonight. Therefore we should take the man for his word and put him back into your fantasy hockey lineup.
