Apparently Lundqvist is starting tonight according to the New York Post. http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/rangers/sean_avery_may_see_more_ice_time_z1DpGiUzhU6LN7c0e91SCN

we thought the same. the Valiquette update is from a reliable source and is surprising news to most.

I love this site and use it daily, but I am sort of annoyed that you confirmed Pavelec when he isn’t actually the starter for tonight’s game.

Trust me I’m just as annoyed as you. We had been 100% on the season until now and can only go be what are sources are saying. my apologies to everyone

Turns out Pavelec IS starting. mistake on the boxscore that we both must have been looking at. THE STREAKS ALIVE!

Never mind. Apparently yahoo had reported Hedberg was the started, but I guess he is out now and Pavelec is now playing.

haha yahoo’s boxscores are always messed. espn’s seem to be a little more reliable.

ESPN boxscore screwed up as well. I have Pavelec in all my fantasy teams (he was my sleeper) so im tracking him closely and it showed he had saves before the Game Start category was updated. I noticed that Hedberg’s name was on the boxscore with zero’s across all categories. The way Pavelec got shelled perhaps Hedberg should have started haha; its not all Pavelec’s fault because the islanders were manhandling the Atl D.

Keep up the good work guys, I’ve been able to plug in goalies because of the reliable info on this site (Danis yesterday is an example).
