The 2009/10 season was the hottest start Ilya’s had, posting an incredible 9 goals in only 8 games. Unfortuantley his possible 50 in 50 run would be put on hold due to a broken bone in his right foot suffered during the first period against the San Jose Sharks on Oct, 24th, 2009. Ilya is practicing full contact, looks like he didnt’ miss a game and should be ready to give the Rangers a run for their money on the 14th of November.
