Kyle Okposo was diagnosed Monday with H1N1 and will NOT be travelling with the team for this coming road trip. The Islanders are now playing without Okposo, Weight (out 4-6 weeks), Dipietro and Martinek (out for the season) which is a significant amount of talent watching from the other side of the glass. This is where depth players come into the picture……right? The Islanders coaching staff and fans will definitley be relying on consistent gameplay from youngsters Tavares and Moulson to keep them alive and hopefully tally a few W’s on this lengthy road trip which doesn’t see them coming back home until the 25th of Nov.
