How can I go and disagree with someone who says “I would rather take the Canes to win”?

Random question, but does anyone know what Ovechkin says in that hockey commercial with people asking what awesome is in Washington? The same one that has the “Henrik” chant I believe.

Only problem is that Enroth is unproven whereas both Ersberg and definitely Legace are proven goaltenders (even though they are average). It’s different.

I’d stay away from the over, I would rather take the Canes to win.

Just a question: If the spread on the bet the “fans” lost was +110, then they should not be -1.00, rather something closer to -.90. If the spread was even, then it should be -1.00.

Agreed, I’m a Canes fan myself and I’m not particularly excited about his debut. However, with Ersberg on the other end I think there’s some chance of a shootout that the Canes win, much like the Predators chance last night. I really don’t see the Canes at the bottom of the league all year!

I think Legace and Ersberg lack the skill, effort or not, to keep this under 5.5

if you go by that theory then jhonas enroth should’ve shut out the bruins last weekend in his nhl debut

the simple fact is that manny legace had a 3.21 GAA and a .889 SV% in the AHL… those numbers don’t buy my confidence

Canes and Kings will go under. Legace has something to prove and Ersberg as well. Money in the bank.

yeah i know.. that pick is so tempting but their road play has been a bit poorer and they beat the hawks with niemi in net

enough for me not to recommend it but it will get a lot of play

Canes and Kings clearly the best pick of the night (as I say that now I will surely be made a fool of).

However, 2nd best is Avs moneyline, that +160 is too good to pass up on a team with their ability so far this year.
