I don’t know why bookmakers would base lines off of the hope that the Islanders are slump-busters, though. Either way, I won’t be able to get that bet in because this is the one time centsports can’t get their lines in for the hockey matches on time!

isn’t it a bit curious? i haven’t heard anything suggesting the isles have any more injuries or the canes will be getting anybody returning from injury

in fact, the canes lost two more bodies for tonight: scott walker and stephane yelle

the islanders have 11 more points in the standings than carolina and are actually tied with ottawa and montreal

it seems like the bookmakers were out to lunch on this one but then again, but now i’ve probably jinxed haha oh well
