Notable lineup happenings from around the NHL:

Kings wings Ryan Smyth (upper-body) will not play tonight and will be out “longer than that, for sure,” according to Terry Murray. We will update you when we know more about the injury. Alexander Frolov will move onto the top line. Kings Lineup UPDATE: Smyth is expected to be out up to a month with an undisclosed upper-body injury.

Benoit Pouliot, Chuck Kobasew and Petr Sykora will all be out of the lineup tonight for the Wild. Wild Lineup

With Brian Gionta out of the lineup indefinitely with a broken foot, Glen Metropolit finds himself playing on the top line in Montreal. Habs Lineup
