Notable lineup happenings from around the NHL:
Martin Havlat and his 1-point in 7 games is out for the Wild with a Strained Hamstring. Antti Miettinen moves back to the top line and James Sheppard will take the Havlat’s spot at RW on the second line. Wild Lineup
Toni Lydman returns to the point for the Sabres. Sabres Lineup
James Neal has been suspended 2 games for his hit on Derek Dorsett on Thursday. Stars Lineup
John Carlson is making his NHL debut for the Caps tonight. No fantasy implications but I recommend checking out the team lineup… Capitals Lineup
Flames winger Rene Bourque will miss Saturday and Monday’s games
Joni Pitkanen will return for the Canes on Saturday, while Bryan Rodney was sent back to the AHL.

As a Wild fan I am completely frustrated with Havlat’s play. I have actually been a big fan of his since we was in Ottawa. What gives? He has always been dynamic and capable of being an effective point producer. Now…nothing. I know the Wild are not the most offensively potent squad, but a talented player should still have the ability to make those around them better and he simply hasn’t. The Wild were a better team last year even with Gaborik out of the line up. It doesn’t add up. Marty is rapidly falling out of my good graces and testing the patience of fans all over the State of Hockey.

Well Havlat has been the beneficiary of playing on some pretty stacked Ottawa and Chicago teams throughout his career. It may just be the case if his teammates making him better. Now that he is playing with just some solid players, but not superstars, the true Havlat is coming through.
And to be fair, he has only broken 60 points twice in his career… definitely one of those guys whose reputation outpaces his production.
