Wojtek Wolski News

Washington signed Wojtek Wolski to a one-year deal worth $600,000, giving them additional depth up front and perhaps a second-line winger.

It's a low-risk move for both the Caps and Wolski that could pay out huge dividends. Wolski has shown flashes of his offensive ability in the past but injuries have limited his output in recent years. If Wolski finds himself fortunate enough to be at RW on the Caps' top line, he could be a great FA pick up.

#NYR According to AHL website, both Jeff Woywitka and Wojtek Wolski have sent to CT Whale on AHL conditioning assignment

Wolski has been relegated to the bench with the Rangers at full strength. The team likely keeps him on the team in order to maintain depth but he has no fantasy hockey value.

Wolski-Stepan-Gaborik

Wolski moves up to the top line after playing mostly with Brad Richards and Ryan Callahan last night. He was able to put three shots on goal in his return game which should mean he's fully healthy. Keep an eye on the former 1st round pick as he could develop chemistry with the new-look Rangers.

Torts says it's not a given Wojtek Wolski goes right back in the lineup as soon as he's ready to play. Too many guys playing well.

The Rangers' forwards have played very well. Couple that with Wolski not necessarily being a favorite of coach John Tortorella and the skilled winger could find himself in the press box when healthy.
