Boyle (illness) will be a game-time decision on Monday.

Boyle missed Saturday’s game, but was on the ice for the morning skate and could be back in the lineup tonight. He said he wants to see if he can eat a full meal today, something that he hasn’t been able to do for the last few days. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups at 6:30 pm ET.

Boyle (illness) will return to the Rangers lineup on Saturday.

Boyle skated on Thursday after missing the last two games with an illness. He was featured on the top power-play unit in practice and he will likely be paired with Marc Staal on the Rangers second pairing when they take on Detroit on Saturday.

Dan Boyle
Boyle (illness) is not expected to play on Monday.

Boyle, who missed Saturday’s game with flu-like symptoms, is not on the ice for the Rangers morning skate, which suggests that he won’t be in the lineup tonight vs. Tampa bay. The Rangers don’t believe he is dealing with mumps, which seems to be sweeping the NHL.
