Lehtera cleared waivers and has been assigned to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Lehtera has been dealing with off the ice issues all season long and was a healthy scratch of the last four games and the Flyers finally decided to waive him.

Lehtera is expected to draw back into the Flyers lineup on Monday.

Lehtera has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but it looks like he will replace Taylor Leier in the lineup on Monday. Lehtera has struggled since coming over from the Blues, registering just two assists in 14 games this season.

Lehtera has missed the last four games, but he has been activated from IR and will return to the Blues’ lineup on Thursday. Lehtera has no points and five shots on goal in three games this season. Expect him to be back on a line with Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz.

Lehtera suffered an upper-body injury in the Blues’ win over the Rangers on Saturday. Lehtera’s movement to IR means that Lehtera will miss Thursday’s game in Edmonton, but he is eligible to play on Saturday.

Lehtera left Tuesday’s game after playing just 3:25 and did not return. He was forced from action because of a high-stick to the face, but he was on the ice for the morning skate and is good-to-go tonight vs. the Sabres. Lehtera was recently moved from the top line and will centre Magnus Paajarvi and Dmitrij Jaskin tonight. He has 10 points (2G / 8A) in 19 games this season.

Lehtera left Tuesday’s game after playing just 3:25 TOI. He took a high stick from Brandon Saad and was forced to retire to the dressing room. Luther is listed as day-to-day and he should be monitored during Thursday’s morning skate.

Lehtera missed Game 5 with a lower-body injury, but skated on Saturday and could be an option this afternoon in a must-win game for the Blues. Lehtera has two assists in four games.
