Beauchemin (finger) will not play on Tuesday.

Beauchemin was on the ice for the Ducks’ morning skate on Tuesday, but he is not quite ready to return to the lineup. Beauchemin was expected to miss 4-6 weeks after fracturing his finger on November 25th, but today marks the three week mark, so he is ahead of schedule.

Beauchemin (illness) will return to the Ducks lineup on Thursday.

Beauchemin has missed the last five games after he was hospitalized with an illness. He will provide a big boost to the Ducks blue line who have had to have inexperienced players play large minutes in Beauchemin’s absence. He is averaging 22:51 TOI per game, so expect him to play close to that in his return tonight. He has four assists in 15 games.

Beauchemin (flu) did not participate in the Ducks morning skate.

Like Corey Perry, Beauchemin is also battling the flu. His absence from practice for the last two days, makes him questionable for tonight’s meeting with the Canucks. Josh Manson would slide back into the lineup if Beauchemin is unavailable.
