The Devils have sent Jimmy Hayes to Binghamton (AHL) on a conditioning stint.

Hayes was a healthy scratch for the last two games as the Devils went with 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Hayes has just nine points (3G / 6A) in 26 games this season and will play in the AHL for the first time since 2013-14.

Hayes will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.

Hayes has been in the Devils lineup for the last three games but will come out tonight in Buffalo. The Devils will dress seven defensemen and 11 forwards, so blueliner Mirco Mueller will take Hayes' spot.

The Bruins placed Jimmy Hayes on waivers for the purpose of a buyout.

Hayes was entering the final year of a three-year deal that carried a $2.3M cap hit. His buyout will save the Bruins $1.73M against the cap this season and officially leaves the Bruins with zero pieces of their Tyler Seguin trade. After posting 29 points (13G / 16A) in 75 games in his first season in Boston, Hayes was terrible last season, recording just five points (2G / 3A) in 58 games.

Hayes is expected to be a healthy scratch for the second straight game.

Hayes has struggled to start 2016-17, failing to pick up a point in 10 games, which resulted in him being a healthy scratch on Saturday and that will be the case again on Monday.

Hayes is expected to be back in the Bruins’ lineup on Wednesday.

Hayes has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, but it looks like he will be back in the lineup tonight in Montreal. After posting 19 goals in 72 games with the Panthers last season, Hayes has just four goals in 24 games in his debut season with the Bruins—that puts him on pace for 12 goals in the same amount of games.

The Panthers and Jimmy Hayes avoid arbitration by minutes and agree to terms on a one-year, one-way deal.

After coming over from the Blackhawks, Hayes posted 11 goals and seven assists (18 points) in 53 games with the Panthers last season. Hayes will fight for a spot in the Panthers bottom-6 that has become increasingly crowded after a number of offseason signings.

The Florida Panthers traded Kris Versteeg and Philippe Lefebvre to Chicago for Jimmy Hayes and defenceman Dylan Olsen on Thursday night.

Hayes was originally drafted 60th overall (2008) by Toronto but has been in the Blackhawks' system since 2010-11. He has played 43 games over three seasons with Chicago, registering six goals and 13 points. In 13 games with Rockford (AHL) this season he has four goals and eight points.
