The Blue Jackets have acquired Carter Camper from the Bruins in exchange for Blake Parlett.

Camper has one goal in three career NHL games. In 41 games with Providence (AHL) this season, he has eight goals and 23 assists (31 points) in 41 games.

To make roster space for the newly acquired players, the Bruins assigned Andrew Bodnarchuk, Carter Camper, and Max Sauve to Providence.

Camper saw some time on the third line but gets sent back to the minors. The rookie has a goal in three games.

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has recalled forward Carter Camper from the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League). Camper is expected to join the club on their road trip in St. Louis and be available for the team’s practice in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center at 10:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday, February 21.

Camper is expected to add a bit more offense to the Bruins lineup. He scored 14 goals and 24 assists in 53 AHL games.
