Kevan Miller has announced his retirement from hockey.

Miller broke his kneecap in 2019 and has battled other injuries in the years since, appearing in just 28 games in 2021. "Although my spirit for the game is there, unfortunately my body isn't,'' Miller wrote in his retirement announcement. He retires at the age of 33 with 71 points (13G / 58A) in 352 career games with the Bruins.

Miller was hospitalized with a foot infection but is set to return to the Bruins lineup following a five-game absence. Miller will replace Connor Clifton in the lineup on Friday and re-enters with two assists in 19 games this season.
