The Predators have sent Simon Moser back to Milwaukee (AHL).

Moser recorded his first NHL point on Feb 8 and first NHL goal on Saturday, however the two points in six games was not enough to keep him in the NHL. Moser returns to the AHL where he has eight goals and 17 assists (25 points) in 42 games.

Moser, 24, has appeared in his first three NHL contests with the Predators this season, recording an assist while averaging 11:06 of ice time. He’s also posted 25 points (8G / 17A) in 42 games with the Admirals during his first North American professional season. The Bern, Switzerland native recently returned from the 2014 Olympics, where he scored the game-winning goal in the Swiss’ 1-0 victory over Latvia, and appeared in all four of the nation’s games.

Moser made his NHL debut on Saturday vs. St. Louis before getting sent down on Sunday. He is back with the Predators and could get in the lineup on Thursday. He has eight goals and 17 assists (25 points) in 40 games with Milwaukee this season.

The Nashville Predators have signed free-agent forward Simon Moser to a one-year entry-level contract worth $550,000 at the NHL level and $70,000 at the AHL level. Moser attended Predators training camp under a professional tryout agreement.

Moser has spent the last five seasons with Langnau of the Swiss Elite League, posting 110 points (56G-54A) in 232 games. In 2012-13, the 6-1, 214-pound winger posted 21 points (10g-11a) in 35 games while serving as team captain.
