The Panthers have acquired Ryan Haggerty from the Penguins for Kevin Roy.

Haggerty was an undrafted free agent that signed with the Penguins in 2018. The 26-year-old forward has just three goals and three assists (six points) in 23 AHL games this season.

Haggerty could make his NHL debut this week.

The Rangers signed the free-agent forward last week and he is taking part in his first practice with the team this morning. Haggerty, 21, had 28 goals and 15 assists in 35 games with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He set career highs in goals, assists and points this season, his third with RPI.
