The Canucks recalled Borna Rendulic from Utica (AHL).

After spending the first two years with the Avalanche, Rendulic has registered 14 points (9G / 5A) in 52 games in with Utica in his first season with the Canucks. However he is not expected to make his Canucks debut on Tuesday.

Rendulic is out indefinitely with a broken leg.

Rendulic suffered a broken leg in the first period of Colorado’s win in Florida last night. The 22-year-old had just two points (1G / 1A) in 11 games this season. He will not see the ice for at least one month.

The Avalanche recalled Borna Rendulic from Lake Erie (AHL).

Rendulic will be in Denver on Wednesday to play against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Avs had a shortened 20-man roster Monday at St. Louis with no healthy scratches. They used defenseman Nick Holden as a forward on the fourth line. With Lake Erie, Rendulic has four goals and four assists in 26 games this season. Rendulic will likely play on a line with left wing Cody McLeod and center Marc-Andre Cliche.

The Avalanche have sent Borna Rendulic back to Lake Erie (AHL).

With Brad Stuart returning to the lineup tonight vs. the Penguins, the Avs had to make a roster move to make room for the blue liner, so Rendulic heads back to Lake Erie.

The Avalanche had recalled Borna Rendulic from Lake Erie (AHL).

Rendulic, 22, has four goals and three assists in 21 games with Lake Erie. He is en route to Colorado and will make his NHL debut tonight vs. the Predators. The Avs were prepared to play with just 19 players, but Rendulic’s recall will have them at 20 tonight.
