Kemppainen has been out with an undisclosed injury since December 7th, but it looks like the 27-year-old will be back in the lineup on Tuesday. He has one goal and two assists in 24 games this season.
Kemppainen suffered an undisclosed injury in Monday’s game and will miss at least seven days. With Kemppainen out, the Bruins have recalled Max Talbot from Providence (AHL) and Jimmy Hayes is expected to be back in the lineup on Wednesday.
Kemppainen left Monday’s game in the first period and did not return. The first year forward will not travel with the team to Montreal and is listed as day-to-day. Jimmy Hayes will work his way back into the lineup with Kemppainen out.
