Donskoi suffered an upper-body injury in training camp and will open the season on injured reserve. The Kraken haven't provided many details on Donskoi's timeline, so consider him out indefinitely until they specify otherwise.
Donskoi was activated from IR on Monday, clearing the way for him to play Tuesday in Arizona. Donskoi, who missed the last four games, skated on the third line with Jared McCann in Monday's practice.
Donsoki suffered an upper-body injury in Toronto on Tuesday and missed Thursday's game in Ottawa. He was moved to IR on Friday to open up a roster spot to recalled Kole Lind from the AHL.
After being added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday, there was some hope that Donskoi would be cleared to play tonight. However, Donskoi remains in protocol with only Marcus Johansson getting cleared to play. Kole Lind was recalled from the AHL and is expected to take Donskoi's spot in the lineup.
Donskoi has missed the last five games while in COVID-19 protocol but will return Friday vs. the Sharks. Donskoi, who has 28 points (15G / 13A) in 42 games, has been held off of the scoresheet in seven straight games.
Donskoi remains on the COVID-19 protocol list and is expected to miss Thursday's game in St. Louis. It's unclear when Donskoi is expected to join the Avalanche, so consider him day-to-day for now. With Mikko Rantanen also on the list, Martin Kaut and Logan O'Connor are expected to play.
Donskoi has been out for the last five games but will play tonight in Philadelphia. Donskoi, who has spent most of the year in the top-6, will start on the fourth line on Saturday.

Look for him to travel on their five-game road trip and return to the lineup on February 1st in Philadelphia.

Donskoi was crushed in the neutral zone by Ryan Lindgren on Tuesday and did not return to the loss in New York. Lindgren was originally expected to have a hearing with the NHL DOPS but they decided not to suspend him after reviewing the hit. The Avalanche do not have a time table for Donskoi's return.
