Brickley is dealing with an undisclosed injury so he will be replaced by Michael Haley in the lineup tonight. With Brickley dealing with an injury, he likely won’t play tomorrow either.

Brickley has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury but will play tonight against the Rangers. Brickley has had a really nice start to the season, collecting two goals and five assists (seven points) in eight contests. He will skate on the Panthers’ second line with Vincent Trocheck and Radim Vrbata, making him an interesting daily fantasy play.

Brickley left Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury and it doesn’t look like he will play on Saturday. If Colton Sceviour isn’t ready to play, look for the Panthers to recall another forward or go with 11 forwards, seven defensemen vs. the Red Wings.

Brickley, 23, had one goal and two assists in 10 games with the Panthers this season. While in Portland, he has three points (1G / 2A) in six games. He has swapped places with Rocco Grimaldi.

Brickley, 23, was the Panthers second round pick (50th overall) in 2010. The University of Vermont product had 22 goals and 25 assists (47 points) in 73 games with San Antonio (AHL) last season. He is expected to open the season on the Panthers’ fourth line.
