Lappin, 25, has one goal in two games with the Devils this season, but has spent the majority of the campaign in Binghamton. Lappin has collected 17 goals and 12 assists (29 points) in 42 AHL games and is expected to draw into the Devils lineup with Brian Boyle (shoulder) and John Quenneville (knee) out.

Lappin was recalled from Binghamton (AHL) and will make his season debut on Thursday.
Lappin has picked up 12 goals and six assists (18 points) in 23 games with Binghamton this season. The 25-year-old returns to the Devils with Taylor Hall (lower-body) not in Montreal. He had seven points (4G / 3A) and a minus-17 rating in 43 games with New Jersey last season.
