David Jones News

Jones (lower-body) did not practice on Sunday; listed as day-to-day.

Jones left last Friday’s game with an apparent foot injury. The original belief was that Jones suffered a broken foot, but that is not the case. He is listed as day-to-day, which suggests that he may miss Tuesday’s game vs. the Sharks.

Jones left Thursday's game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Jones played just 2:44 before retiring to the dressing for the evening. He was hit by a slapper and hobbled off of the ice. Flames head coach Bob Hartley did not have an update on Jones’ status after the game.

Jones (upper-body) returns to the Flames lineup on Wednesday.

Jones has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury that he suffered on November 15th. Corban Knight is expected to be the one who is reassigned to the AHL to make room for Jones. Lance Bouma, who played on the top-line last night, is expected to move back and centre the fourth line, with Jones taking his spot with Sean Monahan and Curtis Glencross.

Jones (upper-body) will be back in the Flames lineup on Tuesday.

Jones has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury that he suffered on October 9th vs. the Oilers. Jones is expected to take Mason Raymond's spot in the lineup because Raymond is dealing with an upper-body injury of his own and he is listed as questionable.

Jones (eye) will travel with the team on their two-game road-trip.

The road-trip begins on Saturday in Vancouver and wraps up on Monday in San Jose. Jones has missed the last seven games with an eye infection, but traveling with the squad suggest that he could return to the lineup in one of the two games.
