The goal is for Theo to play 2-3 games before the end of the season so is Fantasy season is essentially over.

This is a tough break for the Panthers who lose their starter for a minimum of six weeks. Theodore was 4-6-3 with a 3.29 GAA .893 SV% at the time of the injury. This will open the door for Jacob Markstrom to take over as the starter and prove to the Panthers he belongs in the NHL. Scott Clemmensen will also see his fair share of starts.

Initial reports from Dineen said Theodore would be out a while so adjust your lineups as necessary. Markstrom could be a worthy flier if you're in a deep league.

Theodore releived the struggling Scott Clemmensen on Thursday after he allowed three goals on 10 shots. Theodore came in and stopped all 15 shots that he faced. He gets the start tonight vs. a Hurricanes team with a good offense.

This will be Theodore's first start since last Monday when he lost 3-0. Theodore isn't a great fantasy option. He is only useful to play as a spot start against weak opponents, but even then there is no guarantee Florida will win. The Panthers take on Pittsburgh tonight so it is tough to put any confidence in Theodore.

Theodore has allowed 15 goals in his last four starts, all resulting in losses. Goaltending prospect Jacob Markstrom was just called up from the AHL so if Theodore does not start playing well, he will begin to lose starts. He also has a tough matchup tonight against a Flyers team coming off of two big wins in a row.

Theodore has given up 12 goals in his last three starts, all of which resulted in losses. Theodore's 3.41 GAA and .892 SV% has hurt the Panthers this season, and has certainly hurt his fantasy value. He has a fairly good matchup tonight against Toronto.

Theodore has lost his last two starts while posting a 3.23 GAA and .887 SV%, he has a tough matchup against the Lightning this afternoon.

Theodore is 4-5-0 with a 3.41 GAA and .890 SV%, those are not really encouraging numbers from a fantasy standpoint. I would look elsewhere for your fantasy netminder than Florida.

Get past the grammar and know that Theodore will start after he got the shootout win in the Cats' last game. The Caps are proving to be a decent matchup so far but still possess enough weapons to give any goalie trouble.

Neither Theodore or Clemmensen has played well this season. Theodore is 3-4-0 with a 3.32 GAA and .896 SV% which doesn't warrant much fantasy trust, especially on a bad Panthers team.

Theodore just ended a 4 games losing streak with a win against the Jets, and will be back between the pipes this afternoon. Theodore and the Panthers are struggling to win games, there are much better fantasy goalie options.

Theodore has 4 straight losses coming into tonight. He is 1-4 with 3.48 GAA and .904 SV%. The Panthers have only won 1 game all season so look elsewhere for a fantasy goalie.

Theodore got lit up for 3 goals on only 9 shots in his last outing vs. the Flyers. Tampa Bay is one of the NHL's highest scoring teams, Theodore could be in tough again tonight. Look elsewhere.

Theodore has seen a lot of rubber early this season as opposing teams are averaging 38 shots a game on him. Florida just hasn't looked good offensively or defensively and that's a bad recipe for a fantasy goalie. For now stay clear of Theodore until the Panthers prove they can stop the other team and score.

Theodore has been getting the lion's share of the work over Clemmensen.

Théodore had a great start to the season making 41 saves on 42 shots in a 5-1 win over the Hurricanes. The Sens were also winners in their season opener so one of these teams will lose their first of the season... Will it be Théodore or Anderson?

Theodore had a strong debut against Carolina, stopping 41 of 42 shots. He gets the nod again but expect Clemmensen to get his fair share of starts as well.

Theodore isn't a great fantasy option. He might be a worthwhile backup if the Panthers get off to a hot start.
