Carter (upper-body) has been cleared to play; won't be in the lineup on Monday.

Carter has been out since February 9th but despite being cleared to play, he will not be in the lineup tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. The Wild will see how tonight goes before deciding when to get him back in.

Carter will miss at least four weeks with an upper-body injury.

Carter left Monday’s game with an upper-body injury that is believed to be related to his shoulder. He will be out for at least one month, which could mean an extended stay for Brett Sutter who was recalled this morning.

Carter left in the first period after crashing into the end boards. He was reportedly seen leaving the rink with his arm in a sling and according to coach Mike Yeo, he is not expected to be back in the lineup in the near future. With the Wild down two forwards and just one healthy scratch on Monday, expect a roster move on Tuesday.

The Devils have placed Ryan Carter (lower-body) on injured reserve.

Carter was believed to be dealing with a head injury, but GM Lou Lamoriello said that he has an injured leg. Carter will miss his second straight game tonight after being hurt on the first shift on Saturday.

Center Ryan Carter continues to skate on his own as well as he recovers from a fractured finger on his right hand. Carter hasn’t played since he was injured on Feb. 2 against Montreal.

Carter scored two goals and four points through 42 games with the Devils. Look for him to center the fourth line when he returns.
