The Blues have recalled Chris Thorburn from San Antonio (AHL).

Thorburn went down to San Antonio to open the year but was quickly recalled, taking Niko Mikkola’s spot on the roster. Thorburn won’t be a regular in a deep Blues’ lineup and doesn’t carry any fantasy value when he does play. Thorburn has averaged just five goals, eight assists (13 points) and 99 PIMS per 82 games over 800 games during his NHL career.

Thorburn will be back in the Blues lineup on Wednesday.

Thorburn was a healthy scratch for the last two games but he will draw in for Patrik Berglund tonight vs. the Red Wings. Thorburn is still searching for his first goal of the season—he has just four assists and 33 PIMS in 33 games this season.
