Knight is expected to make his Flyers debut on Thursday.

Knight has been with the Flyers organization for the last two seasons, playing strictly in the AHL. During those two years, Knight has amassed 25 goals and 52 assists (77 points) in 130 games with Lehigh Valley. He is expected to replace Mikhail Vorobyov tonight.

The Flames traded Corban Knight to the Panthers for Drew Shore on Friday night.

Knight, 24, was a fifth round pick (135th overall) in 2009. He has registered eight goals and four assists (12 points) in 22 games with Adirondack. He heads the San Antonio (AHL) where he will play with former University of North Dakota teammate Rocco Grimaldi.

The Flames have assigned Corban Knight to Adirondack (AHL).

Knight appeared in two games during his recall but served as a healthy scratch in each of the Flames last three games. With Matt Stajan ready to return from a knee injury, Knight had to be sent back to the AHL.

The Flames recalled Corban Knight from Adirondack (AHL) on Friday.

Knight, 24, has scored five goals and three assists in 16 games with Adirondack prior to his recall. He is expected to suit up on the Flames’ fourth line tonight vs. the Devils.
