Connor (rest) will be out for game 82 of the regular season on Thursday vs. Vancouver.

With the Jets locked into a first-round matchup with the Colorado Avalanche, they will sit several players in their season finale. Connor ends the 2023-24 campaign with 61 points (34G / 27A) in 65 games and will be replaced in the lineup by Nikita Chibrikov.

Kyle Connor
Connor (knee) will be back in the Jets lineup on Tuesday.

Connor has been out of the lineup since December 10th, missing 16 games with a knee injury, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the New York Islanders. Connor will provide an offensive boost for a Jets team, without Mark Scheifele (lower-body), that saw their season-best eight-game winning streak come to a halt in their last contest, a 2-0 shutout loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Before his injury, Connor had 28 points (17G / 11A) and 102 shots on goal in 26 games.

Kyle Connor (knee) has been placed on the Injured Reserve.

The Jets received devasting news on Tuesday as their leading goal-scorer will miss six to eight weeks with a knee injury following a collision with Ryan Strome on Sunday and has been officially placed on the Injured Reserve Wednesday. Before his injury, Connor had 28 points (17G / 11A) and 102 shots on goal in 26 games. Nikolaj Ehlers is expected to see an increase in usage during Connor's absence, including exposure to the top powerplay unit.

The Jets have added Kyle Connor to the COVID-19 protocol list.

Connor tested positive at the rink this morning and will not be available for Wednesday's game in Buffalo. He's also in danger of missing tomorrow's game in Toronto and Saturday's game vs. the Kings. In addition to Connor, Nate Schmidt was also added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Wednesday.

The Jets have re-signed Kyle Connor to a seven-year contract worth $50 million ($7.14M AAV).

Connor was looking for term and he got it. The 22-year-old winger has scored 30-plus goals in back-to-back seasons and set a new career-high in points (66) in 2018-19. Connor is expected to be a fixture on the Jets top-line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler again in 2019-20 and should have no trouble approaching 30 goals again.

Connor (lower-body) is expected to return to the Jets lineup on Tuesday.

Connor missed Sunday’s games against the Senators because of a lower-body injury, but traveled with the Jets to Detroit and is expected to play tonight. Connor took part in line rushes at the morning skate and was back in his spot on the top line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler. Connor has been great since being called up, recording 17 points (9G / 8A) in 21 games.

The Jets have recalled Kyle Connor from Manitoba (AHL).

Connor, 20, who was expected to make the Jets out of training camp, was sent to Manitoba to open the season and has picked up three goals and two assists (five points) in four games with the Moose. Connor will replace Mathieu Perreault in the lineup and is expected to skate with Bryan Little and Patrik Laine on Tuesday. Connor has five points (2G / 3A) in 20 career NHL games.

The Jets have assigned Kyle Connor to Manitoba (AHL).

Connor, who was the Jets No.17 overall pick in 2015, was expected to crack the opening night roster but fell down the depth chart throughout the preseason. Connor has electrifying potential thanks to his exceptional speed, but the organization obviously feels he needs a little more seasoning in the AHL--plus he doesn't need to clear waivers. The 20-year-old winger had 25 goals and 19 assists (44 points) in 52 AHL games a season ago.

The Jets have placed Kyle Connor (upper-body) on injured reserve.

Connor was injured on a hit from behind by Kings’ forward Kyle Clifford on Sunday and the injury will keep him out for at least one week, which is why he was moved to IR immediately. His movement to IR opened up a roster spot for the Jets’ to recall Chase De Leo from Manitoba (AHL).

The Jets have signed Kyle Connor to a three-year, two-way deal worth $5.325M ($1.775M AAV).

Connor, 19, was a Hobey Baker Finalist this season after scoring 35 goals and 36 assists (71 points) in 38 games with the University of Michigan. Connor was the 17th overall pick in 2015 and had a massive Freshman season in Ann Arbor and will turn pro with the Jets next season.
