The Rangers have acquired Taylor Beck from the Oilers for Justin Fontaine.
Beck has appeared in only three NHL games with the Oilers this season, but has registered 50 points (13G / 37A) in 40 games with the Bakersfield Condors (AHL).

Beck will make his Islanders debut on Sunday.
Beck, 24, who had been with the Predators since 2010, signed with the Islanders this summer and will make his debut on Sunday vs. the Bruins. He had three goals and four assists (seven points) in 10 games with Bridgeport when he was called up.
