The win snapped an ugly two-game losing streak for Rask, who will start for the fourth time in five games on Tuesday. Rask is looking for his first win over the Lightning, having gone 0-1-1 while giving up six goals on 67 shots (.910 SV%) in his first two starts against them in 2020.

Rask allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Bruins 5-2 loss to the Flames on Tuesday. Rask’s last two starts have not gone very well, giving up a combined 10 goals on just 57 shots (.825 SV%). He’ll look to get back on-track against an Islanders team that he has played well against this season—going 1-0-1 while stopping 54 of the 58 shots (.931 SV%) that he’s faced.

Rask allowed was pulled after he allowed six goals on 27 shots in the Bruins surprising 9-3 loss to the Canucks on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Rask, who is 5-2-0 with a 1.93 GAA, .930 SV% and one shutout in February. The Flames come in at 5-3-0 in their last eight while scoring an impressive 4.75 goals per game.

Rask allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Bruins loss in Detroit on Sunday. Rask was not scheduled to start but replaced Jaroslav Halak, who was hurt in warmups. Rask is a stellar 12-0-6 with a 2.07 GAA and .930 SV% on home ice this season and is 1-1-0 while stopping 54 of 60 shots (.900 SV%) in two games vs. the Canadiens.

Jaroslav Halak was originally scheduled to start today's game in Detroit but was a late scratch due to an upper-body injury. Rask is 8-4-0 on the road and allowed three goals on 31 shots in a surprising loss in his only start vs. the Red Wings this season.

Rask stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Bruins shutout win over the Canucks on Tuesday. Rask has been stellar in his last five outings, going 4-0-0 with a 1.24 GAA and .963 SV%. He is a great option whenever he gets the nod on home ice, where he is 11-0-6 with a 2.08 GAA, .929 SV% and three shutouts.
