It looks like Boyle might not have been taken out of this lineup at all, but on the preview of tonights game it says that Boyle is expected to be back and play anyway after a few days of rest.

Is Seto really on the 1st line and Heatley now playing RW on the 2nd line?
I have Heatley and was thinking of trading my extra C’s for Thornton so I can pick up all the assists on Heatleys goals. But if Heatley and Thornton aren’t even on the same line there’s no point.

Yessir. McLellan needed to do it to give his team a boost and end their losing skid. Seto also needed a much needed boost and we’re all awaiting this. It might be his last chance.
Thornton will still get plenty of points even if he plays without Heatley, don’t you worry. If anything, Heatley might see the decline from not playing with a solid playmaker like Thornton.

these ARE the official lines, but I was watching last night’s game, yet Heatley was consistently playing with Thornton/Marleau… he even assisted on both of Marleau’s goals (both 5on5′s).
Dunno wtf is going on.

yea and even todays game against blackhawks.. heatley got 2 pts one of them w/ where both thornton and heatley got an ast.. so i think its thornton heatley and marleau

Yea I figured they did, I’ve been checked the log times and they would suggest Heater+Thornton+Marleau was back as the top line again.

as of 02/04/2010, PP1 has Pavelski and Blake (with Boyle out) on the blue line, and PP2 had Clowe Malhotra, and Setoguchi with Murray and Demers on the blue line.
Of course, Malhotra got hurt last night, so we’ll see what it looks like tomorrow…
