Mitchell takes Grabovski’s spot on a line with Ponikarovsky/Hagman. Wallin takes Primeau’s place with Stempniak and Blake.

Viktor Stalberg or Christian Hanson expected to be called up.

lol if you think your defense is so souped up that you will get a shutout every game now i fear you may be sadly mistaken.

    Thanks for the updates!

I am not foolish enough to have any Toronto players on my team. This is all hopeful talk.

    Go leafs go!

This is obviously just the groupings from practice on Monday. The Leafs called up Christian Hanson from the Marlies today, and he’ll definitely get a spot over Finger, who just was slotted into the line for Monday’s skate because the Leafs hadn’t filled any empty roster spots after the trades yet.
    More likely is:
    Ponikarovsky – Bozak – Kessel
    Mitchell – Hanson – Stempniak
    Kulemin – Wallin – Sjostrom
    Orr – Primeau – Rosehill

    Beauchemin – Phaneuf
    Kaberle – Schenn
    Gunnarson – Exelby

    With Giguere starting in net.

    Woooo Leafs are dope.
There is hope for our future.

Classic rebuild – soup up the goalie, then blueline….
if these two are turned well, the young forwards will have good chances to learn and experiment. This team has a future!

Just wondering, how come the goalies aren’t on here?

  10. Matt Bennett Says:

When we started up the team lineups we wanted to focus on line combos and powerplay units which are more valuable to a fantasy hockey owner.

This Leafs team has been great…
Kessel has been a phenominal… He’s making it easy not to care about draft picks
I have Bozak AND Kulemin in my pool… It’s been GREAT!!!
Bozak is a faceoff winning machine
And a great core of young guys Caputti, Stalberg, Hanson, Grabovski.
I just hope these guys can keep doing this next year…

Gustavsson is ON FIRE!!! 7 in a row!!!
Phaneuf has changed the way the team plays D. The PK actually kills penalties now!!!
Schenn is completely different with Dion around, he’s starting to look like the D-man he was supposed to be.
    Gunnarsson is very solid defensively!!!

I think if Burke can get a top 6 forward in the off season this team could be back in the playoffs EASILY next year.

ITS GOOD TO BE A LEAF FAN AGAIN
