Antropov out, Bergfors in for Thrashers

Top line center Nik Antropov will get a night off tonight against the Washington Capitals.

The hulking forward has been plagued by soreness after offseason surgery, as first discussed by Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal Constitution.  Head coach Craig Ramsey would not discuss the change in lines but said that Niclas Bergfors would return to the lineup.  Bergfors has been out of the lineup for a few days but will look to get back to scoring goals, so Ramsey hopes the young forward learned his lesson.

Through his first seven games, Antropov has yet to score a goal and has one assist.  By comparison, Bergfors has two assists in only four games.  Don’t forget to check back later for the newest line combinations.
