After skating on his own for almost two weeks, @Buffalo Sabres F @Jeff Skinner is set to return to the team’s lineup Tuesday night.

Skating at left wing with C @Marcus Johansson and right-winger Michael Frolik.

Skinner, 27, has missed the last 10 games for the Sabres with an upper-body injury sustained Dec. 27 against the @Boston Bruins.

“Jeff looks really, really good today. He felt good,” Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger told nhl.com Sunday. “Obviously, his first time back in the bigger group after multiple weeks. We have to be patient with the process, but the first reports are that he feels strong and ready to go, so let’s hope it continues down this path for the game on Tuesday.”

Skinner has 19 points in 39 games this year and has seven years left with a $9-million cap hit.
