Daily Fantasy Hockey Goalie Rankings: February 18th
Gibson-John(4)

Thanks Cory Schneider. I tried to redeem a rough week on Tuesday and he a the Devils sunk me. So let’s try this again, my top 3 net minders are:

  1. John Gibson – @ VAN – $7,100 – Gibson has gone 12-8-2 with a 2.11 GAA and .917 SV% this season and the Ducks come in having gone 10-1-1 in their last 12 games. The Canucks have struggled offensively so Gibson’s return to the crease comes with a strong matchup.
  2. Braden Holtby – @ NYI – $8,400 – Holtby lost in his last start, which means he probably won lose again tonight. Holtby is an outrageous 35-6-3 on the season and comes in at 2-0-0 with a  1.50 GAA and .951 SV% in two starts against the Islanders this season.
  3. Brian Elliott – vs. LA – $8,400 – Elliott has won three in a row while posting a 1.66 GAA and .943 SV% and has gone 10-3-2 in 15 starts since Jake Allen got hurt. His matchup isn’t the greatest, but Elliott has been borderline unbeatable as of late.

Unconfirmed

New York Rangers – Antti Raanta / Henrik Lundqvist – Lundqvist started last night, allowing four goals on 19 shots in a loss to the Blackhawks. With a rough outing yesterday and a great matchup tonight in Toronto, look for Raanta to get the nod for the Rangers. Expect them to announce their starter at 5:30 p.m EST.

Minnesota Wild – Darcy Kuemper / Devan Dubnyk – Dubnyk gave up three goals in the Wild’s win in Calgary last night, so look for Kuemper to get the nod tonight in Edmonton. Don’t expect the Wild to announce their starter until they arrive at the rink at 7 p.m. EST.
