Daily Fantasy Hockey Goalie Rankings: October 9th

Welcome back for another exciting season of NHL and Fantasy Hockey. I hope all of our fans had great summers but are ready to get back into hockey because I know we are! Like we did last season, on nights where there are eight or more games (sometimes 7 if I have time) I will rank all of the Likely or Confirmed goalies in order of who I think will be the best Fantasy starts on that given night. Rankings will be based off of matchups, recent performance, injuries etc. and follow standard fantasy stats: Wins, GAA, SV%, SO.

This is a useful tool to help you decide which goalies to play on a given night. If you have three goalies and they are ranked below at 3, 5 and 9 then you play the ones ranked #3 and #5.

Since it is the start of the year it is going to be a little more difficult to be accurate, I mean I would have had Quick ranked above Niemi last night for sure… Who wouldn’t?

Anyways we are looking forward to another year of hockey and helping as many people as we can take home their fantasy hockey championships!

If you have any fantasy hockey goalie questions or questions about my rankings leave a comment below or Tweet us @DailyFaceoff or myself directly @Brock_Seguin.

Enjoy and Good Luck!

Boston – Tuukka Rask / Niklas Svedberg
Boston played last night and did not have a morning skate today. Head coach Claude Julien declined to announce a starter this morning, so we will have to wait until pre-game warmups starts at 7 P.M ET to see who leads the team out of the tunnel.
