Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 12-14-17
Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, prominent line changes, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
While this is obviously more geared towards daily fantasy hockey, it can be just as useful for season-long players as well. Injuries are obviously key, but important line changes could be viewed as as potential waiver wire pickups and the goalie rankings can help you make the tough starting goalie decisions you face on large slates.
Key Injuries
IN
– Jay Bouwmeester (undisclosed) will draw back onto the St. Louis blueline.
– Matt Murray (lower-body) will return to the Penguins crease in Vegas.
GAME TIME DECISION
– Ryan Callahan (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision in Arizona.
OUT
– Auston Matthews (upper-body) remains out of the Maple Leafs lineup.
– Taylor Hall (lower-body) will not play in Montreal.
– Kyle Palmireri (foot) travelled to Montreal but won’t play.
– Corey Perry (lower-body) will not be in the lineup in St. Louis.
– Devan Dubnyk (lower-body) will miss the Wild’s next two games.
– Jared Spurgeon (groin) will miss at least two more games.
– Dustin Byfuglien (lower-body) was placed on IR on Thursday.
– Brandon Dubinsky will miss 6-8 weeks with a fractured orbital bone.
– Alexander Kerfoot (leg) remains day-to-day; won’t play vs. the Panthers.
– Jaromir Jagr (lower-body) will miss his fifth straight game.
– Luca Sbisa (lower-body) won’t play Thursday; listed as day-to-day.
– Zac Rinaldo (illness) won’t play Thursday vs. the Lightning.
