The Bruins lost their first-ever game against the Golden Knights 3-1 as -162 road favorites on the NHL odds back in October 2017, but since then they’ve won four straight games against Vegas including a 4-3 victory as +115 road underdogs in their first meeting of this season back on October 8. That was the first OVER result in the first five games between the teams.

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -173 Favorites
The Jets were doubled up by the Hurricanes 6-3 as +100 home underdogs on the NHL betting lines when the teams met for the first time this season back on December 17, putting an end to Winnipeg’s four-game winning streak against Carolina. Overall the Jets have the small 6-4 edge in their last 10 games against the Hurricanes dating back to November 2014.
Islanders at Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -120 Favorites
The Islanders have already been beaten twice by the Rangers this month, falling 6-2 as -125 road favorites on January 13 and 3-2 as -155 home favorites on January 16. That dropped the Islanders to 1-4 in their last five games against the rival Rangers, but they’re still 6-4 in the last 10 games between the teams. The OVER/UNDER was split at 5-5 in those 10 matchups.

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -127 Favorites
The Penguins rolled to a 7-1 victory over the Flyers in the first meeting of the season between the teams back on October 29, with Pittsburgh winning as -145 home favorites at the sportsbooks in an easy OVER result on the totals. The Penguins, though, are just 2-3 in their last five games against the Flyers, and the OVER/UNDER is on a 3-4-3 run in their meetings.
Panthers at Blackhawks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Blackhawks -115 Favorites
The Panthers are just 3-7 in their last 10 games against the Blackhawks dating back to February 2015, but Florida topped Chicago 6-3 at -105 on the road on the moneyline when the teams met most recently back in December 2018. Chicago rides a five-game winning streak into Tuesday’s contest, beating the Jets 5-2 as -110 home favorites on Sunday night.
