Jets at Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -140 Favorites

The Jets are a strong 7-3 in their past 10 games against the Blue Jackets dating back to January 2015, including a 4-3 victory as -125 home favorites on the NHL odds in the first meeting of the season between the teams on November 23. That was an OVER result on the betting totals, and the OVER has paid off at sportsbooks in seven of the last 10 games between the teams. The Blue Jackets have won five games in a row heading into Wednesday night’s matchup with the Jets, beating the Rangers 2-1 as +110 road underdogs on Sunday. Totals bettors have watched the UNDER pay out in Columbus’ six most recent contests.

Red Wings at Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -250 Favorites

The Red Wings and Wild will be meeting for the first time this season on Wednesday, with Detroit holding the edge at 6-4 in the last 10 games between the two teams dating back to January 2015. Minnesota, though, won their most recent matchup by a 3-2 score at -110 on the road on the moneyline last February, in an UNDER result for totals bettors. The OVER/UNDER sits at 4-4-2 in their last 10 meetings. Detroit has lost five games in a row heading into Wednesday, falling 6-3 at Colorado as heavy +330 underdogs on Monday afternoon. The Wild, though, have been tagged with the loss in seven of their last 10 contests.
