Senators at Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -210 Favorites

The Senators put an end to a five-game losing streak against the Blue Jackets when the two teams last took the ice together back on December 14, with Ottawa winning 4-3 at -110 at home on the NHL moneyline in that contest. Overall the Senators are just 3-7 in their last 10 games against the Blue Jackets dating back to January 2017, with the OVER paying off for totals bettors six times in those 10 games. December’s result was an OVER on the totals.

Ottawa carries a two-game losing streak into Monday’s matchup, and has been tagged with the loss in nine of its last 12 games overall. Columbus has been even worse lately, losing eight straight games to push them to the back of the pack in the race for a Wild Card berth in the Eastern Conference. The Blue Jackets are coming off a 4-3 loss at Nashville on Saturday, marking their fourth OVER result on the betting totals at sportsbooks in their last four games.
