Stars at Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -125 Favorites

The Stars have won four of their last five games but are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks as -180 home favorites on Saturday. That setback also marked the first time in four games that Dallas allowed more than one goal, although the UNDER is still on a 4-0 run. The Sabres have lost four straight games with the OVER going 7-1 in their past eight.

Bruins at Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -130 Favorites

The Bruins saw their 19-game streak of earning at least one point end with a 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins as +100 road underdogs on Sunday. The UNDER is 7-2 in their last nine games while the Blue Jackets have seen it go 9-3 in their past 12, including four in a row. This is a much bigger game for a Columbus team fighting for one of the last two playoff spots.

Capitals at Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -127 Favorites

One of the best rivalries in hockey continues with the Penguins trying to end a seven-game winning streak for the Capitals. Pittsburgh has won four of its last five games with the UNDER cashing each time to put itself back into the playoff mix after losing three of four. But Washington seems to be peaking at the right time, moving back atop the Metropolitan Division ahead of the New York Islanders recently in hopes of making another run at the Stanley Cup.

Red Wings at Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -220 favorites

The Red Wings have dropped 10 of their last 11 games and will be wrapping up a three-game road trip against the Canadiens, who are also battling for one of the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. Montreal returns home after losing two of the last three games of a three-game road trip, falling 8-2 to the Anaheim Ducks as -135 favorites on Friday.

Sharks at Jets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -120 favorites

The Sharks will be playing on back-to-back nights away from home following a 3-0 win over the Minnesota Wild as -120 road favorites on Monday. San Jose has won five in a row now and five of seven when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. The Jets have dropped seven of their last 11 games, with their past two losses coming as underdogs to the Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Coyotes at Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -185 favorites

The Coyotes will be playing on consecutive nights as well following a brutal 7-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks as +100 road underdogs on Monday. They had won eight of their previous nine games and remain in the Wild Card hunt thanks to losses by the Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche on Monday too. But Arizona has lost four of five in the second game of a back-to-back while St. Louis has won four of five when closing as a favorite.

Devils at Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -390 favorites

The Flames are the biggest favorites on the betting board, and rightfully so. They are coming off a 6-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights as -145 home favorites in a key Pacific Division matchup on Sunday to end a season-high four-game losing streak and now get to host one of the worst teams in the league. Meanwhile, the Devils are still riding a six-game losing streak, getting outscored by an 18-7 margin during that stretch, with the UNDER going 4-1-1.

Predators at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -155 favorites

The Predators are just 6-8 in their last 14 games, which is a far cry from how they were playing a year ago en route to winning the Presidents’ Trophy with an NHL-best 117 points. The OVER has cashed in three of their last four, with an average total of 7.5 goals scored. Fortunately for Nashville, Anaheim has been just as bad during that time with an identical 6-8 record. That is actually pretty good for the Ducks this year, although they fell 3-2 to the Los Angeles Kings as -200 home favorites Sunday after upsetting the Canadiens as +115 dogs.
