Maple Leafs at Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -159 Favorites

The Maple Leafs are not in good current form, dropping four of their last five games following a 3-0 loss to the Nashville Predators as +105 road underdogs on Tuesday. They were blanked for the first time since February 16 and saw the UNDER cash for the first time in five games. Toronto will be playing on back-to-back nights here and has lost three straight and five of its last six under this scenario. Meanwhile, the Sabres broke a seven-game losing streak with a 4-3 upset of the St. Louis Blues as +130 home underdogs in a shootout on Sunday. Buffalo was shut out three times during its skid.

Lightning at Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -150 Favorites

These teams will square off for the second time in five days, only this time in Washington after Tampa Bay won 6-3 as a -180 home favorite on Saturday. The Lightning have won five games in a row including that one, and they have already clinched the Presidents’ Trophy for the most points in the league this season. The Capitals have much more to play for in this spot and pulled two points ahead of the New York Islanders for first place in the Metropolitan Division with a 4-1 win over the New Jersey Devils as -230 road favorites on Tuesday. They have won two straight when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation.

Senators at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canucks -200 Favorites

Neither of these teams has much to play for right now, especially the Senators, who do not even own the rights to their first-round pick this year after trading it away to the Avalanche in a deal for Matt Duchene. That said, both Ottawa and Vancouver are riding two-game winning streaks and each are coming off a victory against a playoff-caliber team as an underdog. The Senators routed the Maple Leafs 6-2 as +225 home underdogs Saturday while the Canucks edged the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 in overtime as +200 road underdogs Monday. The UNDER has cashed in four straight games for Vancouver along with seven of eight.

Jets at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -159 Favorites

Winnipeg saw its lead atop the Central Division shrink to only one point when the Nashville Predators defeated Toronto 3-0 on Tuesday. The Jets still have two more games to play than the Predators though, making this a very important matchup for them versus a Ducks team that has won two games in a row. Winnipeg is on a three-game winning streak and owns a 14-5-2 mark against Pacific Division opponents after topping the Calgary Flames and Los Angeles Kings during their current run. The Ducks are 9-9-2 against Central foes this season.
