Maple Leafs at Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -130 Favorites

The Flyers will essentially be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss here and would still face a nearly impossible road to get into the postseason even with a victory. In fact, the Maple Leafs probably have a better shot to catch the Boston Bruins for second place in the Atlantic Division, and that is not happening either. Toronto has won the past two meetings in this series with Philadelphia at home while losing the previous two on the road. In other words, the home team has won the last four games played between the teams.

Rangers at Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -315 Favorites

Speaking of Boston, this is your biggest favorite of the night, and rightfully so. The Bruins have won four of their last five games, and they are coming off a 5-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning as +135 road underdogs on Monday. The OVER has also cashed in their last three games. The Rangers are on the opposite side of the spectrum, losing six of their last seven games and 12 of 14, as they have increased their chances to win the “Lose for Hughes” sweepstakes. But for whatever reason, New York is 9-1 in the past 10 meetings with Boston.

Stars at Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -165 Favorites

This is a playoff-style matchup between two teams bound for the postseason, although they are not expected to meet in the first round. The Stars are currently in the first Wild Card spot and should stay there barring a collapse down the stretch while the Flames are in similar position atop the Pacific Division, with the UNDER cashing in each of their last five games. Calgary is coming off a surprising 3-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings as a -320 home favorite on Monday, and this team has not dropped two games in a row at the Scotiabank Saddledome since March 4. Dallas routed the Winnipeg Jets 5-2 as +120 road underdogs on Monday, but this squad has won two straight games only once since March 7.

Golden Knights at Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -115 Favorites

With the Arizona Coyotes winning on Tuesday, Colorado needs a victory in this spot in order to move back into sole possession of the second Wild Card spot in the West. The Avalanche have been equally good on the road as they have been at home, where they play four of their last six games of the regular season, starting with this one. None of their opponents are easy either, including the Golden Knights off back-to-back losses for the first time since February 22. Vegas had won 10 of 11 prior to its current two-game skid, and the home team has won all five all-time meetings, with the total going UNDER the last four times in the series.
