Blue Jackets at Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -203 Favorites

The Blue Jackets are tied with the Montreal Canadiens at 94 points in the chase for the second Eastern Conference wild card berth, but hold the tiebreaker and a game in hand heading into their final two games of the regular season. Columbus has been better away from home this season at 23-14-2, picking up wins in each of the team’s last two trips to Madison Square Garden as well. In fact, New York has dropped four of the past five meetings and six of the last eight. However, the better series trend here is the OVER, which has cashed in four straight games between the teams and 14 of 18 dating back to 2015.

Stars at Blackhawks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -114

The Blackhawks might be missing out on the playoffs for the second consecutive year, but they are playing the role of spoilers well down the stretch. They topped the San Jose Sharks 5-4 as +175 road underdogs on March 28 and edged the St. Louis Blues 4-3 in a shootout as +135 home dogs on Wednesday to prevent their opponent from moving into a three-way tie for first place in the Central Division. The OVER is 3-1 in Chicago’s last four games following a 6-0 UNDER run. The Stars have clinched a Wild Card berth in the Western Conference and have won four of their last five games, with the UNDER cashing in three of four and going 12-3-1 in their last 16 outings.

Kings at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Ducks -153 Favorites

It has been a disappointing year for both the Kings and Ducks, who have not missed the postseason at the same time since before the lockout in 2004. That said, this is still a fierce Pacific Division rivalry that has seen Los Angeles win each of the past three meetings with Anaheim after losing the previous three. A 3-0-1 UNDER run in the series ended in the most recent game between the teams on March 23, with the Kings winning 4-3 as -130 home favorites in a shootout thanks to Anze Kopitar’s goal against netminder Ryan Miller. But the Ducks have won three of their last four overall, with the OVER going 5-1 in their last six.
