Bruins at Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -115 Favorites

The Maple Leafs grabbed a 3-2 lead in this best-of-seven first-round playoff series on Friday night with a slim 2-1 victory as +125 road underdogs at sportsbooks, in the fourth UNDER result on the totals through the first five games of the set. Auston Matthews and Kasperi Kapanen had the goals for the Maple Leafs in the game, which was scoreless until the third period, with David Krejci replying for the Bruins with just under a minute left in the contest.

Boston was set as the -145 home betting favorite in the game, with the Bruins now having been tagged with a loss in six of their past 10 contests as they look to stave off elimination in Sunday afternoon’s matchup. The Maple Leafs are just 4-7 over their 11 most recent games.

Sharks at Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -165 Favorites

The Sharks will be looking to avoid playoff elimination for the second straight game on Sunday night as they play on the road at the Golden Knights as underdogs on the NHL odds. San Jose topped Vegas 5-2 as -115 betting favorites in Game 5 on Thursday night to close the series gap to 3-2, with Tomas Hertl scoring twice and Logan Couture, Barclay Goodrow, and Joe Pavelski all scoring once. Reilly Smith and Jonathan Marchessault replied for the Golden Knights, who were small -105 road underdogs in the OVER result for sports bettors.

The OVER is now 5-1 in the last six games for the Golden Knights, and 4-1 in this first-round playoff series. The sole UNDER result in the series came in Game 4, when the Golden Knights blanked the Sharks 5-0. Sharks goalie Martin Jones has a 4.37 GAA in the playoffs.
