Lightning vs Panthers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -133 Favorites

The battle for second place in the Central Division will take place in Florida when the defending Stanley Cup champions visit Sunrise for the first of two games. The Lightning remain tied with the Panthers following a 5-2 loss to the Stars as -135 home favorites on Friday. But Florida can finish second with a two-game home sweep to close out the regular season, which would give the team a six-game winning streak heading into the playoffs. The OVER is also on a 4-0 run for the Panthers, who have split six meetings in this series, with the OVER going 5-1.

Canadiens vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -188 Favorites

Montreal closes out a two-game series at Toronto and could see this same opponent again in the first round of the postseason. The Canadiens lost the opener to the North Division-leading Maple Leafs 5-2 as +190 road underdogs on Thursday, with the UNDER cashing in their second straight game. The setback was the second in a row for Montreal overall and dropped the team two points behind Winnipeg for third place in the division. Toronto leads Edmonton by eight points atop the North after winning for the sixth time in seven games overall as well.

Ducks vs Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -263 Favorites

Minnesota went to overtime for the second straight game on Friday and will look to finish a season-high seven-game homestand with another win over Anaheim. The Wild edged the Ducks 4-3 in overtime as -280 favorites after falling to the Golden Knights 3-2 in OT as -105 underdogs on Wednesday. The OVER also improved to 7-1 in Minnesota’s last eight games. Anaheim has alternated losses and wins in its past seven games overall after that defeat.

Hurricanes vs Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -141 Favorites

Nashville looks to move one step closer to clinching the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division in the first of two home games versus Carolina. The Predators have only a two-point lead over the Stars with two games left while the Hurricanes clinched the Central title when the Lightning lost Friday. Nashville has lost all six meetings with Carolina so far this year.

Blues vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -150 Favorites

Vegas maintained a four-point lead over Colorado for first place in the West Division with a 4-3 overtime victory Friday against St. Louis. The Blues blew a 3-1 lead to the Golden Knights, who have won their last two games in OT now, including this one as -190 home favorites. Despite the loss, St. Louis clinched the fourth and final playoff spot in the West, and Vegas will likely be the team’s first-round opponent. The Golden Knights have won five of the seven meetings.

Avalanche vs Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -263 Favorites

Colorado avoided a two-game skid Friday with a 3-2 win at Los Angeles. The Avalanche kept pace with the Golden Knights in the race for the West title but failed to pick up any ground, staying four points behind with one game in hand. Colorado won as a -245 favorite and saw the UNDER cash for the second straight time. The Kings lost for the first time in three games.

Coyotes vs Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -110 Odds

Arizona wraps up its season in the finale of a two-game set at San Jose after winning the opener on Friday. The Coyotes defeated the Sharks 5-2 as +100 road underdogs and saw the OVER cash for the sixth time in seven meetings this year. The winner has scored four goals in each of the seven games between the teams in 2021, with Arizona taking four of them. San Jose fell for the fourth time in five games overall and has just three wins in its previous 15 after the loss.

Canucks vs Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -294 Favorites

Edmonton will try to rebound from a bad loss to Vancouver in the finale of a four-game series between the teams. The Oilers had won the first two games against the Canucks by a combined score of 9-4 before falling 6-3 as -250 home favorites in the third on Thursday. Vancouver ended its second six-game losing streak of the season with the victory and also won for just the third time in eight meetings this year. Edmonton now trails Toronto by eight points for the North lead with one game in hand and had won three straight, five of six and nine of 13 prior to that loss.
