Flyers at Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -140 Favorites

Pittsburgh opens a two-game homestand against its intrastate rival from Philadelphia on Tuesday after ending a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over Dallas as a +105 road underdog on Saturday. The Flyers have won three of their last four games overall, and they have also won three of the past four meetings with the Penguins, with the UNDER going 3-1.

Sharks at Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -180 Favorites

The Sharks have dropped four of their last five games heading into Boston to meet the Bruins. San Jose has surrendered four goals or more in all of those recent losses, with the OVER going 3-1 at online sports betting sites. Boston is riding a three-game winning streak overall and also owns a six-game series winning streak dating back to 2017

Flames at Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -135 Favorites

The Hurricanes ended a season-high three-game skid with a 4-0 rout of the Blackhawks on Saturday as -200 home favorites, and now they welcome the Flames to PNC Arena. Carolina was outscored 13-7 during its losing streak, with the OVER cashing each time. Calgary has alternated wins and losses in its last six games and is coming off a 2-1 loss at Winnipeg on Saturday as a -135 road favorite. The UNDER has cashed in the team’s last four road games.

Capitals at Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -125 Favorites

The Capitals wrap up a five-game road trip against the Maple Leafs in a battle between two of the Eastern Conference’s best teams. Washington is 3-1 on the trip so far following a 6-5 shootout victory at Vancouver on Friday as a -105 underdog as the OVER cashed for the seventh straight time. Toronto has won three of four at home but has lost three of four overall.

Lightning at Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -180 Favorites

Tampa Bay hits the road for a four-game trip after a disappointing homestand at 1-2, with losses to a pair of top Western Conference contenders in Colorado and Nashville. The Lightning have won three of their last four road games though and own a five-game series winning streak against the Rangers, who have lost six of their last seven games overall.

Oilers at Red Wings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -135 Favorites

The Red Wings hope to break a season-high eight-game losing streak when they host the Oilers. Detroit fell 5-4 to St. Louis in overtime on Sunday as a +120 home underdog after losing six of its previous seven by two goals or more in regulation time. Edmonton has also cooled off a bit following a hot start, going 3-3-1 in its last seven after winning its first five this year.

Wild at Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -155 Favorites

Two of the worst teams in the West meet in Dallas when the Stars host the Wild. Minnesota has actually won three of four games following a 1-6 start while Dallas has also won three of four after going 1-7-1 in its first nine. However, the Stars had higher expectations this season, and they have won the past four meetings with the Wild, with the UNDER going 3-0-1.

Jets at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Ducks -120 Favorites

The Jets have won two of their last three following a three-game losing streak, and the UNDER is on a 4-0 run. The Ducks have dropped four of their previous five with the OVER on a 6-2 run in their past eight. But Anaheim’s lone win during that stretch was a surprising 5-2 victory at Colorado on Saturday as a +135 underdog before losing to Vegas on Sunday by an identical score as a +210 dog to end a tough back-to-back situation and four-game road trip.

Also on today’s schedule: Blackhawks at Predators.
