Ducks at Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -185 Favorites

The NHL-leading Capitals will try to put together their first winning streak since they won six games in a row a little more than a week ago when they host the Ducks on Monday. Washington is coming off a 3-2 shootout win at Boston as a -105 road favorite on Saturday after dropping two of the previous three games. The UNDER also cashed for the second time in three games following a 12-1 OVER run. The team will play four of the next five games at home, which is not necessarily a good thing though considering its league-best 10-1-1 road record to start the season.

Meanwhile, Anaheim has stumbled to a 4-5 mark away from home so far this year. However, the Ducks did win their last game on the road Saturday when they knocked off the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues 4-1 to open a four-game trip and end a five-game losing streak. The total also went UNDER for Anaheim after a 4-0 OVER run that coincided with the skid.

Kings at Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -170 Favorites

The Coyotes will play their second consecutive Pacific Division opponent and go for their fourth victory in five games when they host the Kings. Arizona blanked Calgary 3-0 on Saturday as a -115 home favorite in the opener of a three-game homestand. The UNDER cashed in the third straight game for the Coyotes, and they previously defeated Washington and St. Louis as a road underdog each time.

Los Angeles is riding a season-high three-game winning streak following a 4-3 win over Vegas on Saturday as a +125 home dog. All three wins took place at Staples Center, and the team has lost six games in a row on the road, with four of them decided by two goals or more. The UNDER is on a 5-1 run for the Kings as well. Los Angeles and Arizona have alternated wins and losses in the past eight meetings dating back to 2017, and the UNDER is 3-1 in the last four after a 3-0 OVER run in the series.
