Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -170 Favorites

The Penguins are riding a three-game winning streak into this home matchup with the Canadiens, blanking two of the three opponents and outscoring them 10-3 during that stretch. Montreal has also won two of three following a season-high eight-game skid, with the UNDER on a 3-0-1 run. The Penguins have won six of the past eight meetings between the teams.

Blues at Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -135 Favorites

The Blues hope to avoid a three-game losing streak when they visit the Sabres. St. Louis is coming off a 5-2 loss to Toronto on Saturday as a -120 home favorite after getting shut out by Pittsburgh 3-0 last Wednesday as a -105 road underdog. The defending Stanley Cup champions have won 12 of the past 14 meetings with Buffalo though. The Sabres wrapped up a three-game road trip through Canada at 1-1-1 after edging the Oilers 3-2 in overtime as a +160 road underdog on Sunday, with the UNDER cashing for the first time in four games.

Sharks at Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -165 Favorites

The Predators will try to finish a three-game homestand with consecutive wins when they host the Sharks. Nashville topped New Jersey 6-4 on Saturday as a -255 home favorite to break a two-game losing streak, with the UNDER cashing for the first time in four games. San Jose has dropped four in a row after winning five of six, including the first three of a four-game road trip. The Sharks have been outscored 20-6 during their skid, with three games decided by two goals or more. The Predators have won seven of the past eight home meetings in the series.

Flames at Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -135 Favorites

The Flames have put together a season-high five-game winning streak heading into the second game of a back-to-back situation versus the Coyotes. Calgary beat Colorado 5-4 in overtime on Monday as a +120 road underdog, with the OVER cashing in its third straight game. The Flames have lost five of six when playing the second game of a back-to-back. Arizona will be playing the opener of a three-game homestand after winning three of four on the road. The Coyotes have dropped 11 of the past 16 home meetings though dating back to 2016, with the OVER on a 6-3 series run.

Hurricanes at Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -105 Odds

The Oilers continue to search for more offense going into this matchup with the Hurricanes. Edmonton has totaled two goals or less in five of its last six games despite having the league’s top two scorers in Leon Draisaitl (19 goals and 34 assists) and Connor McDavid (19 and 33). Meanwhile, Carolina has scored three or more goals in winning three of its last four, although the UNDER has cashed three times during that stretch as part of a longer 7-1 run.

Maple Leafs at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -120 Favorites

The Maple Leafs look to string together a winning streak for the first time since taking three games in a row on the road between November 21 and 27 after firing head coach Mike Babcock. Toronto kicked off a four-game trip on Saturday with a 5-2 rout of the Blues as a +100 underdog, and the team visits the Canucks next in the first of three straight games against Canadian clubs. Vancouver has won three of four overall and will be playing the fourth game of a five-game homestand here. The OVER is also on a 4-1 run for the Canucks.

Blackhawks at Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -200 Favorites

The Golden Knights will host the Blackhawks for the second time in less than a month after losing to them for the first time ever 5-3 as -245 home favorites on November 13. Vegas had won each of the first seven meetings prior to that setback, and the OVER is 7-1 in the series all-time. Chicago lost the first meeting this season 2-1 in a shootout on October 22.
